Wedding photos The Old Grove Redlands
For this particular wedding we traveled to the southern most part of Miami to one of the most beautiful venues we’ve worked at in a while. The name of this beautiful outdoor event space was rightly named The Old grove. Upon arrival we took a moment to look around, and the property looked like something right out of a fine art bridal magazine.
Unique features of the Old Grove Redlands
Within this hidden orchard were some rustic water features and wildlife that are unique to this Redlands wedding venue. As we made our way through the grounds we were invited with the sounds of the enormous man made falls in the distance. Koi fish pons are a huge part of the decor at the Old Grove. Their graceful presence surround you from all directions adding another perfect touch to this location. As well as the paper lanterns hanging overhead which add a soft glow to the trees once dusk falls.
The bride and groom chose to complement their theme of all white by greeting their guests with a gorgeous sweet station accompanied by the guest book as they made their way to the ceremony site. Once the ceremony began the groom made his way to a mound in the center of the orchard were he eagerly awaited his bride. After a short ceremony and a few traditions the two were wed.
The Old Grove at Sunset
Because the wedding began shortly before sunset the light was absolutely breath taking. Rays of golden light made there way through the Grove giving it a beautiful warm essence. After the family and wedding party photo session we headed toward the reception space on the other side of the grove with the newly weds. Walking through the grove a Yellowish warm lighting from the reception area gave a beautiful rustic barn-like glow which could be seen faintly between the twisted avocado trees.
An event space with a rustic Southern Charm
The reception space had a chic Southern charm with wash buckets as chandeliers, rustic wood furniture, and string lights crisscrossing creating a most beautiful now star lit outdoor reception. Before we welcomed the guests from cocktail hour we took some time to photograph the couple within this gorgeous space. The celebration of friends and family at such a beautiful gem of a venue was everything the couple could of hoped for. Not to mention the Hora Loca taking the party in to the morning hours.
If we had to say what kind of wedding it look like or what the feel of the event was. It definitely had a rustic orchard / barn-esque outdoorsy summery feel. Being a wedding photographer in Miami and working in many different outdoor locations The Old Grove is by far one of our favorites.
