Get to know the photographer session
With an early 2018 wedding on the horizon and the cool months among us, we took to the gardens of Vizcaya for a Get to Know the Photographer Session. This session is probably the single most important meeting I have with you before wedding day. Yes we can grab a cup of coffee and get to know each other but there is nothing like placing a camera in between the 3 of us. Believe it or not after a half hour or so you begin to feel the nervousness wear off and your true personalities begin coming through. This is where the magic truly happens and wedding photography design starts!
Breaking the ice before wedding day
Close your eyes just for a moment, and imagine what the excitement/anxiety and anticipation of your wedding will be like. Crazy right! Now add on your first time experience with the photographer. Even more anxiety, yikes! From personal experience the ice takes much longer to brake. As the day of artist I spend the day trying to figure out your personalities and how I am going to tie them into the over all theme and feel of your event. Wow, that is exhausting even thinking about the scenario as I type. LOL!
Building a personal relationship with your wedding photographer
So whats the remedy? The best gift a couple can give themselves before wedding day is a Get to know the Photographer experience. So 25 years after your wedding is over your images will thank you. For real, it is totally worth it for you and the artist capturing your day.
